The rip against the “World Series” in other countries has always been that it’s not truly a worldwide event. This has finally changed with this month’s launch of the World Baseball Classic tournament. Enthusiastic fans from Japan to Mexico to South Africa are finally being treated to baseball on a global stage.
Whether or not WBC will endure and become a popular tradition is yet to be determined. But in the meantime, baseball fans and gamers alike can experience this historic milestone event exclusively at home with 2K Sports’ Major League Baseball 2K6.
MLB 2K6 is the only major league baseball video game to feature World Baseball Classic as it faithfully replicates all 16 teams, logos, uniforms and authentic all-world tournament structure.
Coming this spring, MLB 2K6 will be available on all major consoles – Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, PSP and GameCube.
